About Me




Rick Garland was born in August of 1981 in San Jose, California and his early childhood in Redwood City, California. After a brief stay in Fresno, California he and his family moved to Bakersfield where he spent the remainder of his youth. Rick graduated from Bethel Christian School in the year 2000.

From 2003-2004 Rick worked on staff at Gospel Light Baptist Academy in Selma, California, and from 2003-2005, helped lead the Bethany Bible Chapel in Caruthers, California from 2004-2005. In the summer of 2004 he co-founded The March of Truth which is the evangelistic ministry he still works through today.

He published his first book “Lessons from my Fathers” in September of 2013. He has since written several religious titles and is currently expanding his work to fiction as well. He is an avid fan of classic Hollywood and as a hobby visits famous filming locations as well as the final resting places of celebrities.
